Has Victoria Beckham agreed to one last zig-a-zig-ah?

Rumours persist that Victoria Beckham will join the Spice Girls' Olympic reunion - but only if she never has to do it again.

In news that has us baffled, Victoria Beckham FD (fashion designer) looks set to threaten the five years of hard work she has put in to be taken seriously by the snobby fashion world by agreeing to re-form the Spice Girls for a one-night-only performance at the London 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony.

Mail Online reports today that Beckham has given the nod of approval as a gesture of goodwill to the other girls, but only on the proviso that it will be absolutely the last time.

Although the reunion has not been confirmed by the event's organisers, that hasn't stopped the rumour mill from turning out tales of disharmony and bitter fueds between the five former rivals band mates.

Our favourite comes via a 'source' close to Geri 'it's all about me' Halliwell on the Mail :

"After the Olympics I can't even imagine even talking to her again, let alone being on stage with her. Mel B was right; she has lost the spirit of the band!", strops Geri in the statement her people have reportedly dismissed as "utter nonsense".

Well, if the body language at the recent photo call launch of upcoming Spice Girls musical 'Viva Forever' was anything to go by, it would seem that VB has well and truly put her Girl Power days behind her, standing stony-faced (what's new) at the end of the cosy line-up with tumbleweed blowing through the gap between her and Emma Bunton.

Perhaps she really was put out that Geri tried to upstage her yet again by making her own dress? Either way, much as we would be the first ones singing along in our Buffalo Boots, we're really not convinced that having come so far, we'll be seeing the rebirth of Posh Spice come Closing Ceremony night - and that's not even taking into account the snub old Goldenballs got from football manager Stuart Pearce or the fact that she'll be super-busy in New York preparing for her upcoming spring/summer 2013 catwalk show.

I was a big enough Spice Girls fan to go and see Spice World the movie on the day it came out (Boxing Day), and bought a ticket to the reunion tour (which ran out of songs and steam pretty quickly). But after attending Victoria's show at New York Fashion Week in February, it became clear where her true talent lies.

There's a good reason why that tour was cut short... #justsaying
