It's not the first time Sevigny has represented the brand - she appeared in the campaign for their spring/summer 1996 collection, which was shot by Jeurgen Teller.

This time, she has been captured by fashion's favourite photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot for "a gallery of portraits with a seductive, provocative attitude", says Miu Miu.
Wearing pieces from Miu Miu's printed trouser-suit heavy autumn/winter collection, Sevigny becomes the leading character in a "kaleidoscopic visual collage, where masculine and feminine blur in a dandy-like fantasy conveying a refreshing eccentricity". Perched on chair holding a floral teacup she looks set for the Mad Hatter's tea party.
The label - which is the sister line of super-brand Prada - often turns to actresses to fulfil the role of seasonal muse. Past spokesmodels have included Hailee Steinfeld, Selma Blair, Evan Rachel Wood, Kirsten Dunst and Katie Holmes.
Known for both her eclectic style and choice of roles, Sevigny recently starred in British series TV series Hit and Miss as a pre-op transsexual contract killer.
